Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum
Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum Blossoming Bedspread - Sand
This design is based on the painting, Almond Blossom. Vincent painted one of his favorite subjects as a gift: large, blossoming branches against a blue sky. He painted it on the occasion of the birth of his godson, who was also named after him, Vincent Willem. As a symbol of young life, Vincent chose the branches of the almond tree, one of the earliest blossoming trees, which announces spring as early as February. With the subject, the sharp outlines and the placement of the tree in the picture plane, Van Gogh was inspired by Japanese printmaking. This decorative cushion consists of a quieter color composition with the well-known almond blossom branches as an eye-catcher on a sand-colored background.
The bedspread is made of 100% polyester velvet on the front and has a digital print. The print continues along the edges on the back. The back is a plain sand color. Both the front and back are finished with a quilt pattern. Available in the sizes 180x260 and 260x260 cm. The bedspread is not suitable for the washing machine and tumble dryer.
